I haven't written in my blog in almost a year!! My mom told me my uncle Kim missed reading my updates, so I thought I should update my blog today! To start off, I get to officially start my new job tomorrow working at the airport as a Merchandise Manager for Hudson Group. I have been waiting to get in because in order to work at the airport, you have to get through security and a fingerprint test. Well my fingers must have too much water in them (clammy) b/c the stupid fingerprint machine didn't like my fingers. My prints would show up way too dark for FBI to read the little swirls. That happened three times. After 3 strikes and you're out, you have to get a name check. So I got the name check and just found out I passed it today! Surprise, surprise. It was hard not being able to work for a little over a week not knowing when I would be able to work. I did enjoy my time off by going to the zoo, Indians game, bumming around and hanging out with Chris. Also I babysat Baby Kate today (15 months old) and she was so much fun. I kept on making her crack up by playing peak-a-boo and doing high 5's which I taught her!
So last night dad and I got a call a little after 9 p.m. about my grandma's neighbors possibly seeing someone in her house. (My grandma is at a nursing home right now because she had a heart attack the 2nd week of August. ) Dad and I hopped in my car and away we went. There were already 2 police cars with a k-9 unit waiting for dad to open up the house. The neighbors who called us were there and a few other neighbors were outside seeing what was going on. The policemen let Stoutko (?) the dog sniff through and luckily found nothing. The windows and all were in tact! Everything was fine. Phewy!
That's about all for now. I will try really hard to update when I think of things to write about!

Check out this video on you tube!! The leaders at youth group made it this past Saturday. We are promoting the "
Halloween" party that I'm in charge of and PK came up with the video (and
choreography). We are dressed as Rockstars for "The Fall Collection"- name of the party. I'm dressed as Avril Lavigne with the long blonde wig :). We are dancing to Michael Jackson's "Thriller" music video. Pk showed it to us and we copied some of the dance moves. It was so much fun to do! Then later that day I had to go to work...blah...I can't wait for our party!!!!
Check it out:

http://www.youtube.com/refugelive I found out it takes awhile to download if you have dial-up like we do, but it's well worth the wait!!!
I'm so excited because I upgraded my phone yesterday! I got the LG VX8700 and I also got the music essentials kit which I'll have to figure out! Now I can send/receive pictures and videos! yay!! I'm in the 'in crowd' of sending/receiving pictures finally haha. My old phone wouldn't send pictures so that was a bummer. It has a 2.0 megapixels camera and great graphics. The only thing I'm not crazy about is that it doesn't have a voice memo, but oh well. I love getting new 'toys.'
On Friday night I slept over my friend Melissa's house and we made music videos. We sat by her computer and played her downloaded songs. We changed costumes and taped ourselves dancing. How fun is that?? Well we had loads of fun and were just cracking up at ourselves. It's so funny that a 20 & 23 yr old can have so much fun just dancing around :).
So on Sunday night I went with a group of girls to see "Becoming Jane." It's based on Jane Austen's life. It's a really good movie and I highly recommend it if you like 'Sense and Sensibility' and/or 'Pride and Prejudice.'
Now it's back to work! BLAH!
Mom and I went to see the American Idols tonight and they were awesome! I watched every show, but I'm not an overcrazed fan about them. I really enjoyed them live because they sounded great and sang a lot of songs that are out on the radio, plus some older ones. Jordin sang her "This is my now" and looked great! Lakisha sang Whitney Houston's "I will always love you." She can really belt it out! Plus Blake and Chris R. beboxed and Blake sang "Shot through the heart!" Fun stuff! Since Poptarts is a sponsor, we got free poptarts after the show which I thought was really cool and yummy!! mmmmmmm......
If you are a fainter in hot weather, please tell the people you are with so they know what to expect. That's my advice! So here the story goes: I went to Cedar Point with 7 other people from my church today. We left a little after 10 am for our 45 minute drive there. It went well, we parked and went right in. All of us decided to stay together and headed to the back to ride the new coaster, Maverick. The temperature today was probably close to 90 (?) and the sun was shining bright. All of us get in line and slowly move through. We had been standing in the heat for probably ohhh 15 minutes if that and we're turning a corner and my friend, Cyle loses his wallet on the ground. Sadie or Lauren try to give it to him, but he doesn't care for it. The next thing I know, he's falling head first into a chain that connects the poles for the lines that people go through. I thought he was going to throw up, but he just kinda slumps over the chain. At that point, we're like ok what's going on here? Then PK (Pastor Kevin) catches him and holds him up while talking to him. Cyle blacked out for a minute. We set him down on the ground and he sits there while Lauren (very nervously) buys a gatorade from the Cedar Point fella close by. We give Cyle the Gatorade and he sits down for a little while drinking it. The crowd passes us by. Then I move over to Sadie who says she doesn't feel well and her ears are muffled and her vision isn't right. She sits down, pulls out her water and I keep talking to her. She feels a little better to get up. We move, then as I'm walking through people in front of her, some man catches her before she falls head first, but catches herself with her knees and slumps over. A man offers to buy her a water from that same fella. I yell for PK (because I have no idea what you do when someone faints!) and he holds the ice on her neck. So after a couple of minutes (we found out the EMT's were called in with the Cedar Point ambulance) Lauren and I walk her out of line and sit at a picnic table waiting for her ride to First Aid. We wait, a policeman talks to her and another worker, the ambulance comes, I sit in the front while Sadie & Lauren are in the back. We drive to First Aid, she gets admitted and is given some gatorade. The 3 of us sat in there for over a 1/2 hour and Sadie is feeling better. We then go to like 5-6 eating places, but decide they're too expensive. We eventually stop at a Saloon (aka Salon as Lauren called it haha) and all 3 eat our Chicken Caesar Salads. We get cooled off in the a/c and the others meet up with us. Between everyone else who didn't faint (6 of us) we keep on reminding the 2 that did faint to keep on drinking water. After eating we went to Millenium Force (rollercoaster) and stand in the shade for most of the waiting. Well when we got into the sunshine, Cyle had to sit down for awhile. The 5 of us kept on going since we went through this before and eventually he caught up with us. Well Cyle sat down for the rest of the wait and scooted along till we got to where we get on. The poor kid. We ride the ride(fun!) and afterwards I find out Cyle blanked out I think going down the huge hill and 'came back' after a turn. I couldn't believe it. The rest of the time we were there, it went really well. We kept Cyle & Sadie hydrated and they did okay. I actually did get to ride rides from like 1:30-we left at 8. At the beginning I was getting hopeless, but it turned out well! This day made for a lot of fun memories. The car ride home with Lauren, Cyle, and Matt was great. I was so tired and exhausted that I was slap happy. Lauren thinks it was from my root beer but who knows. We were just 2 big goofs. I couldn't stop laughing! Afterwards a few of us got some ice cream. Wow, WHAT A DAY at Cedar Point. Two people faiting and a ride in a mini ambulance!
Yesterday I was working at L.Workout Express and there was a lady and her daughter who were leaving. As they were walking out I said, "Thanks for stopping in!" You don't say that when someone leaves from the club! Oh well :) Then I realized that um yea I wasn't at Gap thanking the customers for coming in. The people come to the club because they have to or want to. I felt a little embarassed but I'm sure they didn't care.
Other than thanking club members, I've been hanging out with friends, going for walks, went to the beach and took pics with Audrey, watching the Cavs games, working, shopping and rollerblading. This weekend I get to go to the Indians game! yey!
Still no job, but my 2 1/2 jobs are keeping me busy....I worked at Bath & Body Works on June 3rd doing a floorset for the sale. It's only like once a month so..not too bad!
GO CAVS!! They better win Thursday! AHHHHHHHHHH!
