What a busy week..well weekend I guess I can say. I'll start with Friday because Thursday (as I can remember) wasn't too exciting. On Friday I went to my 3 wonderful (I'm being a little sarcastic here) classes leaving my house at 8:40 am. We had a guest speaker in Media writing who is a writer for The Plain Dealer. He was pretty interesting to listen to, but the only thing is we have to write an article on him for class. (I did that today b/c it's due tomorrow). After class, I worked from 2:30-6 in adult and saw the pastor's wife and one of his daugher's Gracie. She's adopted from China and is sooooooooooo cute!!! :) Then later that evening I saw 3 more people from my church. I love it when they come in. It's so nice to see familiar faces come through. Then right when I got off, I drove to Tremont to meet a friend from work, Craig, and his other boss to go to the Cleveland State play-Jesus Christ Superstar. (His cousin was in it.) It was definitely interesting. It combines modern day with the olden times. The disciples wore Walmart vests that said on the back, "how may I help you?", Judas couldn't really sing, a girl soldier "whipped" Jesus but didn't do a good job, and at the end they were all singing when Jesus died. They started to bow and it was the end. No resurrection. I kept waiting and waiting but nope. It didn't come. I was like "oh?" I guess it just makes you think how twisted people's views are about how Christ lived etc. There was this one guy who had a really really deep voice and that was entertaining. There were also dancers who were kinda scandalous. EEK! I got home around 10:30 and was pooped! What a day!
Then on Saturday I worked 11-4 and opened up 2 gapcards. We had a contest going called "Pass the Buck" and this round lasted until 2. Well if you opened up a gapcard, you got the buck. I was the winner and I was soooooooo excited to get it. I got a myster y prize and it was a giftcard to Trader Joes plus the dollar. :) It was a kinda slow day, but fun. Then I rushed home (not too much haha) to be there by 4:30 b/c Brett and I went on a train ride featuring stories from the Underground Railroad. It was a lot of fun and we didn't get lost! yey!!! We also stopped at a bookstore (it was part of the trip) and got a cookie and hot chocolate. There was acting on the ride to the bookstore and we were all supposed to be slaves. They had code names and some of them were: sake of potatoes, buck, and bundle of logs. The one actor guy picked on Brett and called him a trouble maker hahaha. It was hard to not laugh b/c the whole time these people are telling you to look down and don't move, don't laugh. It was a good time!
Then today I went to Sunday School and church, Subway with friends, napped, and wrote some articles for school. I also worked on some other homework since I had no other time to work on it this weekend. oh yea..love the homework...

Tax time! Yippeee..well no, not really. Taxes aren't fun to do, but luckily I have my dad to help me out! Not a whole lot that's new. Just been watching the Olympics every night..especially the figure skating. Oh it makes me want to go skating every night after I watch it. I miss it sooo much! I worked today and yesterday my mom and I went to Southpark. I didn't find anything at the mall. Nothing fit.:( Oh well....I'll save my money, right?!? I should be working on school work right now, but I keep on procrastinating. I have worked on it some, it's just taking awhile. OH WELL! HAHA.... That's all for now!

Well I've been doing really good exercising this week let me tell you! I worked out at LWE on Tues and Thurs . On Thurs night I was in pain! Ouch! lol On Wednesday I rollerbladed around the block because it was nice out for once and I got to go skating on the sorta new paved street. Then last night I went to a friend, Chloe's house for a birthday party and we decided to go rollerskating! I hadn't been in forever! It was a lot of fun with the little group that we had. She also had a really cute b-day cake that was a huge hamburger. It was delicous too! MMmmm....:)
Earlier in the week, I had been working on school stuff mostly. Valentine's Day came and went while I was at work from 1-8 at LWE. Nothing special. It's a lot more fun in elementary school I tell ya! Nothing else much going on...write more later!

Fun weekend! I went ice skating!! yey!! Saturday night (after work) I went to Bethany's house b/c she came up from OSU and we had dinner at her parent's house. Then the 2 of us went ice skating at the N.Olmsted rec center. It was fun...lot's of little kids, but it wasn't too crowded. I looovvee being on the ice. I miss it so much! The day before though..I had class..well my first one was cancelled, but after the other 2 classes I worked till 6, then drove over to LWE to work till 8 b/c the youth went to Dayton for Fine Arts and we were short people. I was extremely tired. I kept knocking over things there. oh well. I just crashed at home and watched the Olympics opening ceremony.
Sunday was a busy day. Went to S.S., then church. Kim and Doug just bought their first house and Bethany and I went to see it with them. It's really nice for a first house. It has this awesome attic in it too! Later I went to a leader's meeting and worked on homework.
Today OH MY GOODNESS it took me an hour to get to school!! It usually takes me 1/2 hr, but as soon as I hit this one curve in the road, I literally drove between 3-7mph the whole way until my exit. No joke. Talk about having patience. It was getting frustrating with bumper to bumper traffic. Plus you have to watch for those idiots who try to move over in front of you when you don't want them in your space. GRR....I did make it finally to CSU, but I was like only 5 minutes late to class. My teacher's cool so it wasn't too bad. Plus like 5 other people came in after me so I didn't feel too bad. Then in my last class I led a discussion on a couple sections in the book, "The World is Flat." It went well. Luckily the people who usually participate did! :) Made me happy! I hate talking in class, but I wasn't really nervous which I was glad!
Gotta get studying now. I have a test on Friday. Yippee!

What a snowy day! Wow...Some people may not like driving in snow because yes it's scary and other people just don't know how to drive in snow, but I like it most of the time. (At least when it's daytime and you can sorta see where you're going.) I just think it's cool driving through the white stuff b/c it's light out but at the same time it's kinda dark from all the snow coming down. Plus once you get where you're going, you get all nice and warm. On the other hand...yes I hate scraping and brushing the snow off in the morning when it's freezing out! At school today my friend and I thought it looked like we were in a snowglobe b/c of the way the snow was coming down. I think we have at least 4 in. or so. I don't really know b/c I'm bad at guessing. I'm just estimating from the amount on my neighbors railing. Anyways.......on my drive home I decided to go to the mall and i bought 2 sweaters and a velour hoodie all for $39 at Kaufmann's. They're all DKNY and were 75% off the original...like $69 and $58 for these things plus an additional 20% off! I was sooo excited to get these at such great deals!! The 2 sweaters are ribbed- one dark grey w/a zipper and the other red turtleneck. The other is a off-white hoodie. Then I bought some v-day cards.
I've been pretty busy doing school work. I had to write a couple of papers for 2 different classes. I have to lead a discussion on 2 chapters of a book in my last class on Monday, but I had to write an abstract for that. It's done! yey! Now I have to concentrate on starting my research paper. I'm doing "impulsive buyer behavior." Oh yeah! lol I'm looking at all aspects of it..the different cultures, why people do it, what the companies have to do with it etc. It should be interesting. I like that he let us choose our topic.
Work at Gap has been slooowww....I like it there, but people are just not in the major shopping mode. Oh well! I had this past Friday off which was nice. Got to hang out with Leslie, Dan and their cousin. Then on Saturday Brett and I hung out and grabbed some coffee at Arabica during the crazy snow "storm." Ever since then it's been snowing pretty good off and on.
School work calls. I keep putting it off haha That's not too unusual.
Oh does anyone watch "The Bachelor in Paris?" AHHH Good show!! :)
