Hey sorry!!!!!! Wow I haven't written in 2 weeks!! I guess you could say it's because of school/work/church/friends. My usual four . :) So what's new?? A lot I guess and I'll start with school:
It's going alright...pretty slow right now, but I'm not complaining. In my Com management /capstone course we're reading this book called BLINK! which talks about split decision making, intuition, and snap judgments. It's a really good book and every day we have class someone writes an abstract on it and we go over questions and just have discussions. In my other two classes we've been going over the newspaper and/or news stories. Nothing too major yet, but it's all coming soon. It's still not the same though. I have a couple good friends in my last class, but I don't see everyone I'd like to because I have classes straight through from 9 45 till 1:20. No break... Last week I worked at LWE on Tues and Thurs of course.
At LWE last Tues was Sample day where I made apex shakes for the ladies and I helped double last years sales! woo hoo!! :) Made me pretty happy. I must have some good marketing and/or interpersonal skills then, huh? It was a lot of fun. Then on that Tues I hung out with an old friend from high school, Matt, and we went to Brio for dinner. MMM it was soo good. Lasagna...it was huge tho! Plus they brought us this lettuce that was pretty much cut in half from a head of lettuce..the oddest salad I've ever seen. It was good tho. They brought it with a 'frozen fork.' lol Then I accidently spilled my lemonade (not on anyone) and barely before I could blink, some dude came by and cleaned it up. They were on the ball there! I was impressed!
Wednesday through the weekend I went to school and work. Then on Friday...I..are you ready??
Went to school from 945 till 1 20, worked at Gap in Kids from 2 30-6, grabbed some sides from Hoggy's, babysat from 7:30-12:30 for a co-worker, got home kinda late b/c I talked with my friend. Then on Saturday I worked till 4, then helped out a friend by being her photo assistant at a wedding at church. Went to 2 receptions (the other one was for family and close friends) and left at 10 to watch a movie at my friends house....The Interpreter...it was okay. One I don't have to see again.
Then Sunday...Sun school, church-- (a man prayed the longest prayer I've ever heard in my life. I was dying inside of laughter..yes I know that sounds really bad..but come on, it was too funny to hear a guy preaching in his prayer and you're just standing there...wow it was hard laughing on the inside.) He prayed a really good prayer, it just tickled my funny bone! Then did hw and worked on some other stuff. I went to CHAG cafe later (where we eat lol) and then finished up the movie at my friend's house. WHEW!
Today wasn't very eventful..school, worked on my letters because I'm planning on going to Sweden/Denmark for a missions trip in June! I'm SOOO EXCITED!! I can't wait! :) I also watched 7th Heaven, Related, and the Bachelor in Paris...ooo getting down to a few ladies now! It's late. I must go! :)
Let's see here...I've had a busy week hanging out with friends, but that's what I love! Last Tues I got some errands done, hung out with my friend Kim at Arby's and caught up on things, worked all this week, went to youth, and went to Applebee's with Greg and Brett. Then this weekend :
Friday...worked till 5, then met brett at the movies to see "Fun with Dick and Jane." All of our other friends were busy...but I guess you get that when you call like a couple hours ahead of time to do something hahah. It was fun...good movie with Jim Carrey (sp?) in it. Then on Saturday I worked until 4, and met Brett, Matt and Greg up at Arabica for coffee. Brett and I played some checkers...and ...uh..yeah...I lost :( . It was a long game though. Afterwards the four of us went to Greg's house and watched my dvd..."Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" (the new one). On Sunday night the four of us went to Greg's again and watched "X-Men 2." It was ok. Very action-packed I must say!! lol
Today my mom and I went to see "The Incredibles on Ice" where they went to Magic Kingdom. I drove downtown b/c I didn't want to ride in the rapid transit. I used to like riding the rapid but now that I drive to Clev, I know it's a lot faster by car. Plus I was just thinking how many people ride it and for some odd reason the germ thing was bugging me. So we made it, parked, and walked to Tower City and hung out for about 45 minutes before the show started. Once we got in the Gund (well now it's called the Quicken Loans arena but I refuse to call it by that stupid name) there were kids EVERYWHERE. It was swamped I tell you. Kinda scary in a way...but we made it through the crowd of mini people and kept going down down down to our seats. Our seats were really the 3rd row in the very front. There were 2 rows "on the ice" then our row was the first one behind the baracade. IT was awesome! $12 seats that good!! woo hoo! I got some pics too. It was fun and the costumes were beautiful. I wish I could design some like that! They made it feel like you were really at Disney world with the parade and everything. Afterwards came home, then at 5 I met a friend from work. We ate at the Cheesecake Factory and split a bbq pork sandwich b/c it was so big. Then the waitress gave us a dessert menu and we were talking and I guess taking awhile. So then the waitress comes over and brings this fancy (huge) dessert and says it's on the house, so we took it! We figured maybe someone ordered it and didn't want it or something, but hey why not take it, right? After we ate, we went and saw "Casanova" with Heath Ledger...ahhh.....he's dreamy hahaha. I like him!! Good movie..it has a lot of humor in it. More than I thought. Fun times!
Well my vacation is almost to an end. It's been fun spending time with my friends. Now I have to switch modes and get into study mode unfortunately for Wednesday when I began. ugh....only till may I tell myself.....then more stress begins in yea..the "real world" of finding a job/career. EEEKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!
HOLA! Ha now my blogs have gone down to like once a week! Recap time!! From last Tuesday to today.....
Tuesday....worked at LWE from 8-3 then Gap from 4-9 and yeah it was tiring, but it went a lil better since it was my 2nd week at LWE. I just hung out at home that night.
Wednesday...worked at Gap from 12-3, but before that I mailed off a textbook I sold on half.com and got some stuff I needed from Marc's. Afterwards I went to CSU to pay my lovely tuition, went to the bookstore and met up with my friend Matt and grabbed some food at a lil cafe. Later I went to youth group and then went to Brett's house and watched a couple episodes of the Simpson's with Don and Brett. (First time I'd seen full episodes! lol)
Thursday I worked 1-8 at LWE. I had slept in earlier that day until 10. I was tired!!! At work I went over new programs and trained which went well..it was just kinda a long day.
Friday...went to my next door neighbor's memorial/funeral service. He died Jan 1. His parents live next door..not him...but it's so hard to see the family sufferring and so sad that it breaks my heart. He was a doctor, 34, doing his residency and I guess made some poor choices at the end. They're Catholic, so from my point of view, going to a Catholic funeral service was very different from what I'm used to. Wow....so many things are different I realized. I hadn't know b/c I hadn't been to any service before. It was cool so now if ppl ask I have a lil background to share. The whole situation is just so sad though....:( Later I worked 1-6 and afterwards went home then my friend Don came over for pizza and to hang out. Later Dan & Leslie came over around 10 and we all talked (and my parents too...showed the new train ..Polar Express..off). Later on we played Cranium, had cafe mochas (mmm ..Don and I had peppermint in them....soo good!!) Don and I won!! yey!! We stayed up talking till like 3 in the morning...well Dan fell asleep..hehe. Yeah..it was fun..but I had to get up to work 11-4 in the morning!! Good times tho!!
Saturday...worked 11-4 in Kids...afterwards...rushed home...made some cookies...met Brett at church to go to Sarah's for leader's meeting...ate yummy sandwiches and chips/dip. We had our meeting from like 7-9:30. Oh yea we also had a brownie and ice cream for dessert! Sarah always feeds us well! :) After that Brett and I met Don up at the church and all of us hung out at Brett's house watching some band videos.
Sunday...went to Sunday school...I love that class because it's a discussion and it helps with everyday struggles. After sunday school...church...went home...ate...did some school stuff...napped...then listed items on ebay..I hope they sell!! AHHH!!
Then today....I worked in Kids from 10-3 and helped out a lil with visual/marketing pics. We got new flow in adult and I love all of the cotton sweaters...ahhh...Elizabeth does not need to spend any more money!!! I will not until that/well some of it goes on sale...even then I know I don't need it. I guess it's good I'll just be there on the weekends once school starts. I won't see all that cute stuff all the time. After work, talked with my other friend Matt about classes..ugh I don't want to go back!! Went to Michael's and got some fun foam for a poster for LWE, went to Old Navy and chatted with my friend Katie. She got a new puppy!! How cute! I think his name is Brutus..mini doxen...hehe :) Oh yeah I finally got my UGGS today..and I need the next size up..yea...size 4 in the Chestnut color...So I called online and no one...not even stores have any so I have to wait even longer....grr...oh well.. Maybe they're not meant for me?? The lady online said maybe check back in a couple of weeks. I hope they get them in! Alrighty I better get working on my poster. Write more later!!

It seems like I haven't once again written on here for awhile now. This past week has been insane. I worked my first 40 hour week last week and this week it's going to be about the same between my 2 jobs ie internship at Ladies Workout Express and Gap. SHESH I don't know how people do it lol. All in all it was good, but very tiring. I worked at Gap M, T, W, F, & Sat and at LWE Tues & Thurs. In between those times I hung out with friends on monday (Brett, Don, Dan K and one of Brett's friends) at a Christian coffee house called Seekers. That was fun. Earlier I went to the mall with my mom for the after Christmas sales. I got a few things for some friends.
Tuesday was my first day at Ladies Workout Express. I worked 8-3 then at gap from 4-9. Yeah that was a really long day. LWE went ok for the first day. I was by myself for a few hours and I wasn't too crazy about that since I didn't know the routine of things. Then at Gap it was crazy busy...it tired me out! Wed -Gap, then hung out with friends later at Caribou and Applebees. Thurs- LWE 1-8 then meeting till after 9 . I was pooped! Friday work from 10-5 then got ready at Julie's then me, Julie, Sarah, Don, Brett, Greg, Dan K, Danny, & Matt E went to Little Italy for dinner then House of Blues for dessert. Fun times!
Saturday- work from 9:30-1, then n.olmsted rec for skating for the youth all-dayer. A youth guy fell and hurt his head and he had to go to the hospital for 2 staples to be put in. Poor fella! The event went until six, then around 8:45 Julie and I went to our friend's house-Melissa to celebrate New Year's Eve. We ate, hung out, played a game, and watched "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" and the ball drop. Later we met the guys up at IHOP.
Sunday was New Year's Day. I went to church then took a nap during the day. Later Don and I hung out and later Brett met up with us. Saw some friends at Barnes and Noble I hadn't seen in awhile. Ha it was kinda nice not having church Sunday night...a little break here and there is always good!!! :)
Today I worked 9-3 and helped with markdowns. It was nice not having customers rush at you as soon as you step out onto the floor. Kind of refreshing...:) Once again tomorrow the looonngg day begins...eek!
