Weekend Time!
Friday I worked in Kid land and it was wierd leaving there at 2:30. I never leave that early on a Friday, but I surely didn't mind it at all! So I went home for a little bit then mom and I went to Beachwood Place. I have been needing some new brown sandals b/c my other ones are just old/gross and the one place I can actually find nice shoes to fit my small feet is at Nordstrom kid's shoe dept. But you know when Elizabeth goes to Beachwood, she can't just go in for what she came for. So.........I did buy some cute Born flip/flop brown sandals. They're really comfy and I hate flip flops b/c they usually give me a blister, but these are AWESOME!!! Then we went to a Brighton store and of course I found a ring..well three rings you wear together that I liked with green stones. I've been wanting something like that for awhile so I got that too. (Talk about an impulse buy..there's more to come..) Then we went into this Evelyn & Crabtree store that sold Vera Bradley bags..welp..yup..bought a purse & a matching wallet that I've been wanting too. So needless to say...yea I'm really watching my money now. I even brought my lunch yesterday when I knew the you would be going out to eat afterwards! AHH! So after Beachwood, came home, ate, then went online. My friend Greg and I were bored so we went up to the Blessings festival in Lorain. At the festival they had live music, food, inflatable games and other little tables set up. We hung up there until it closed then Greg, Brett, Danny, and I went to McDonald's and died laughing at jokes/movie lines. Good times!

On Saturday I worked until 3, came home, tried on some clothes my best friend Elizabeth is giving away and found some good stuff! :) Then my parents and I went to our neighbor's grad party and stayed there for a couple hours. We had a great time hanging out with a few of our neighborhood families. We need to have a block party!!! I've wanted one for forever!!! Then I took a bike ride for 20 min, came inside and cleaned my room until like 1 am getting rid of stuff and just picking up clothes etc. It needed it!!

On Sunday...went to Sun. school then church. After church a group of us..me, Lindsay, Cyle, Micah, Lauren, Hannah, Joey, and Stephanie went to Wendys then to Lindsay's then to the Blesssings Festival to volunteer. It was soooooooooooo hot out! Wow when you're used to working in a/c it's really hot lol. We had a good time though. Lauren & I worked on the bouncy inflatable and luckily it had a covering so we were in the shade most of the time. We had a fun time talking. Later we listened to the choir sing and a bunch of us went to Matt E's to go swimming. The water was soooooo warm! We had fun jumping on the trampoline and getting pushed in. This morning on the way to work I was laughing out loud at all these memories I have of faces people were making when they got pushed in or when something happened. My youth pastor and his wife (P. Kevin & Lindsay) both got pushed in with their clothes on! Then all of us kept on getting after one another and trying to dunk each other. Fun stuff! :) Melissa and I made up a choregraphed mini dance hahah...We showed it to Lindsay. Then at one point us girls wanted to jump in, but every single time we tried, at least 2-3 of the guys would get out really quick and push us all in so we'd have to get out and try again. We did make it one time with all of us jumping in! :) yey! I was exhausted when I got home though..whewy..what a day! :)

Today I worked and it was pretty busy so that helped keep me awake. My dad and I dropped my car off b/c it the steering wheel shakes when I go like 60 mph and we don't know why!
Tonight started the first day of VBS and I was a helper. It went really well and I enjoy the girls in my group. We have all girls! (Probably a good thing lol). So I'll be doing that allllllll week...yey...lol No, it'll be fun..I hope! :)

Tonight/today was an interesting yet fun day. Hmm where to even begin? I guess I'll start with what I'm sad about.
So my best friend, Juliette and I were talking over our chips and dip (spinach/guacamole dip). Well she mentioned that this past Sunday was her last Sunday before going back to school b/c she's going to Maryland and Ca. It totally didn't click in my mind before! I almost cried! Then on the way home, the more I was thinking about it, the more sadder I got. Yea, in less than a month, all/well just about all, of my bestest friends are going to be gone. They'll be back in school. :( I am excited about starting a job (when I find one), but it's just not the same without them here and seeing them at church/hanging out on the weekends. I am going to miss them dearly! *sniff, sniff* I will survive, but it'll be hard b/c I won't have my school friends who I would see every other day....that's sad too. I guess I'm just having an online pity party hahhaha....Well moving on.....
Today I worked in Kids...ALLL DAY LONG! The morning part went by kinda fast. Then this mom lost her kid (she was probably about 1 1/2?). I hadn't seen her but as the mom went into adult, I looked up and saw the baby outside of my doors. I ran to go get her b/c the mom was still in the other store then and went outside. Luckily there was a lady walking down the street who sort of stopped her. The baby only had a diaper on b/c it looked like the mom was trying to change her clothes or something. I just scooped her up and took her to her mom. The mom told the little girl "never do that again!" and thanked me quickly. yup yup...saved a girl today...all in a days work...
Then later on I networked with a couple customers who are involved or were involved in HR and they gave me suggestions for the job search. They're very friendly/helpful. I love finding out info from people while I'm ringing them up! haha!
Also I saw a weird lady who didn't know how to put on her greyish/black eyeliner. I'll try to describe it: ok picture her eyes then where the top of your eyelid is...draw a straight line outward towards your ear. Then do that again following the bottom eyelid. = Kinda like an equal sign in a way....I don't know what she had going on but it definitely didn't look good AT ALL. She just needs an update. That's all.
Later I got some cute girl's khaki cargos that roll up into capris. :) I went home, ate, then went to youth. After youth I hung out with my friends before we went to Applebees. Lindsay was showing a couple of us some exercises for our sides. It was kinda funny b/c we were all lined up, laying on the ground trying them out. ha! Fun night!! :)

Lots to say, so little time.
The same as always...a busy weekend. On Thursday I worked in the evening and our stealer friends came in. I had to do the stupid return and I hate doing fraud returns. It's so wrong what those people are doing, but they dont have a conscious about stealing from a company. They just like to steal from stores, return, and get merchandise. But they're dumb b/c they label themselves and are an easy target to spot. Anyways..on top of that...we had a crazy mother customer come in who thinks we are there to serve her hand and foot. I won't go into her, but she was just obnoxious and rude.
On Friday I worked until 3. Some of our "friends" came in that day and luckily Kristine was in there both times. The second time, I was walking up to the front of the baby store and the 4 ladies (if i can even call them that b/c they sure don't act like ladies) walked in with their Express bags and 1 Victoria Secret bag. The bags were pretty empty. So they split up- 2 and 2- set their bags on the counter, and luckily left the store without filling up. :D yey! Kristine & I just kept watching them. I could tell they were a LITTLE upset.. bummer..so sad..(yes I'm being sarcastic teehehehe). So later that day Brett and I went to Oberlin to what I thought was going to be like this festival thing. um...no. It was music at a gazebo and like 7-10 fold out tables set up. That's it. Not like the NR corn festival or any carnival around here. It was so dinky! It was cool walking around Oberlin though. Neat little city. Later we watched "School of Rock" which was pretty funny.
On Saturday I worked from 9-1:30 then babysat Ethan while Eliz & Eric went to a wedding. He was a little fussy the first couple hours then during the reception time I watched him, I finished feeding him & he slept! I watched "Elizabethtown" with Orlando Bloom & Kirsten Dunst & "Cold Mountain." I enjoyed Eliztown...Cold Mtn...um..too many gory and bad parts...ekk.
Then Sunday- church & went to Panera with Brett, Jason, and our youth intern Zach. I tried some kind of chicken/guacamole/spinach sandwich. The middle part of it was ok, but I didn't like the bread part b/c inside of it was too soggy. I probably should stick to what I like....my soup and just reg turkey sandwiches. Later that evening I cleaned a little bit in my room, then my friend Chloe called and I went to her house to hang out and play volleyball. My team lost the first game, then the second game we won b/c of Matt E's power serves! woo hoo! :) Gotta love playing in the dark where you can barely see the ball.....
Monday-worked until 2:30 then napped, and went to Eliz's to babysit Ethan again from 4:30-11:45. This time it was a little more challenging. I honestly don't know how people stay sane or manage twins at the same time. I had a hard enough time managing a poodle and a 4 month old. He was pretty whiney b/c he was either hungry, tired or needed to be changed. Yes the baby usuals. Well the one time I changed him, he peed in his crib so I had to change the sheets and that made me really mad b/c they don't make anything easy . The sheets are like as tight as possible to the matress plus to get the sheets off you have to take off the bumper. ay yi yi! So then after awhile of course he starts crying; He doesn't like how I hold him or whatever. Babies change moods way too often. Plus I know I have to consider Ethan doesn't really know me. So needless to say...yea not ready for kids FOR A REALLY LONG TIME. I love other people's kids, but I don't want any for awhile. THey surely are a lot of work! (Not that I didn't know that before, butttttttt...I don't know how people do it! They're awesome when they've got a system down! :) ) Enough of my ranting/raving of kids...eek. I just love it when they come through in baby all happy and then they go with their parents. No responsibility whatsoever..it's nice. I also had some time to use the treadmill...and I can surely feel it today!
Today I worked from 1-6 in Adult/Baby...pretty slow day so it was kinda boring. I did see my 3rd grade teacher who I see off & on so that was cool. Also, today is my dad's birthday so we had lasagna, a salad, lemon cake & DQ mini ice cream cakes. Mmmm...later I went over to Juliette's and hung out with her & Melissa watching "Must love Dogs." We had fun for the little bit that we hung out. Then I finished my other movie I had started the night before..."four feathers" with my fav actor...Heath Ledger... :) I love his Aussie accent....ahhhh :)
That's about it for now!

Whewy...another busy weekend passed by! On Friday I worked until 6, then since Don was home we hung out and grabbed some ice cream at Mitchell's. It was really good. I got chocolate peanutbutter cup. Then we went to Starbuck's b/c it started to rain and hung out there until it died down. Later we went to the beach, but of course the rain came again so we called Brett and went to his house. The 3 of us drove up to visit Brett's sister at Arabica and we hung out there for awhile chatting with some people we'd just met. On Saturday I worked until 4, then a co-worker of mine went to my car for something and accidently locked my keys in my car. So luckily my parents were in Avon Lake and came to rescue me within 15 minutes with an extra key. We then went to a friend's house (from church) for their Texas BBQ. It was really good. They had deep fried turkey and really good green beans etc. It was fun watching people get thrown into the pool and playing Greg's little riddle games.
Then on Sunday...was church, ate, nap, then leader's meeting until church again. Our intern Zach preached Sun night and he did a good job. Then later a bunch of us went over to Greg's house (he left for Kentucky for a 2 week job) and went swimming. It was soo nice and warm! The girls had fun fighting for a little raft that the guys kept on trying to take away. hahaha
Yesterday...I worked all day..until 5:30 with Michelle in Babyland. It wasn't too bad and we got a lot done. After that I came home, then went to Elizabeth's to visit her & Ethan b/c I'm babysitting on Saturday. Hope it goes well!
Then today I worked in Kids until 4, came home, napped, ate , then went rollerblading with Brett around the Westlake Rec center. My friend Brenda told me about the path and it's pretty nice there. We went for 1 hr 20 mins. Good exercise!!!! yey!! I'm trying to do something every day. Last night I rode my bike for 20 mins around the neighborhood. I get bored of the same scenery all the time. blah... That's about it for now. Still trying to find a job....mainly just looking online at sites recommended to me by friends/people I know. It's frustrating. : /

I had a fun weekend hanging out with a couple different friends. I went to a craft show on Friday then met up with a friend later for coffee. She goes to OSU, but I met her at LCCC when I went so it was fun catching up with her. Then on Saturday I worked, made chocolate chip & m&m cookies, and Brett & I rode bikes up to the pier then later met up with Dan/Leslie to go to a beach in Lorain. Juliette & Greg met us up there a little later. It was fun climbing on the rocks and playing frisbee in the sand. Whenever Leslie and I threw the frisbee, it was funny b/c it'd wobble. I don't know why! oh well! When it got dark and when all the bugs were biting we grabbed some ice cream at Dairy Queen. In Lorain they don't mess around. Their lobby closes at 10:15 and a guy came over right at 10:15 to ask us to leave. As soon as we stepped out of the door, they turned out the outside lights. I was kinda shocked. Well that was rude! Ok so working in retail...we never kick any one out like that! We turn off our music but we don't ask people to leave right at 9. Some have even stayed until 9:30 or so. Shesh! So then we all went to Dan & Leslie's parent's house to chat on the back porch since it was still nice out.

On Sunday I went to church, napped, church , got Chinese and ate at Juliette's.

Monday....worked 2-7, then rollerbladed at Hunington Beach with Brett. It was really cool skating by the lake. Usually I just skate around my neighborhood and see the same old sights etc. Plus I got to see the bright pink sun! oooo ahhh! At one point we went under this people bridge and it was a steep slope, but luckily we both made it through! I wasn't scared to begin with, but after I made it I couldn't believe neither one of us fell! It was definitely an adrenaline rush!

Tuesday I worked at night until 9:30 and it went ok. I got to dress the faceouts (the hangers in the front of the clothes showing what goes together) for the new line of clothes. That was fun! I like dressing the mannequin faceouts.

Today I worked 9-2, stopped in Banana Republic...yea their clothes run way too big so I don't even know why I bother to go in there...grr...Then went to Old Navy and got a tee w/a hood and 2 photo albums which will be quickly filled! :) Went to youth and I was the story teller for tonight! It went well. As Lindsay said, I got to practice my major tonight! hehe :)

Well the first week back to work was sorta rough. I had to work 38 hours which was not looking good when I first saw my schedule. I know I'll enjoy the paycheck though! It actually wasn't that bad. I enjoyed catching up on things with my friend Michelle and my other co-workers. Plus I always enjoy talking to the customers etc.
I had a good weekend. Brett and I hung out and then on Saturday we saw the stupid firework display at Crocker. Yea it lasted a whopping 5 minutes. That's Crocker Park for ya. Westlake makes CP out to be this huge, fancy shopping place but it's really not "all that." Working there I see and know all the structural things wrong with it. It opened in Nov '04 I believe and it's not the greatest design. We've had people come to replace the door frames and other things. In the winter ice chunks fall on you. One time ice fell and hit my friend on the shoulder who was a security guy there. Nice. Just nice. Plus you hardly see security there......hmmm weird. So they have the special 4th of July celebrations which are mainly aimed at kids. I guess it would be fun if you had a Sat off with nothing to do with your kids. I do like the kettle corn people when they're there. That's pretty cool. But back to the fireworks display...yeah it was a grand finale that lasted 5-7 mintues. N. Ridgeville's are WAY better people!!!!! It was not too much fun waiting to see "nothing." Oh well!
Sunday I went to church, visited my Aunt Nancy, then went to Matt E.'s surprise party. (I was late for the surprise part.) I enjoyed the party though. It was fun pushing Joey in the pool then later Chloe. Yes I'm that sneaky. Later Greg got Mrs. Emmerling in, then Mr & the brother-in-law & the 2 sisters with their clothes on! It was stinking hilarious! Plus it was nice to have Dan & his g/f Chrissy home.
On Monday a group of 13 (?) of us went to Cedar Point. That was a lot of fun. Plus I got to see an old friend (s) whom I hadn't seen in awhile. It was nice catching up with them. I had missed them a lot. Let's see...I rode... Millennium Force, Mine Ride, the swings, the new SkyHawk huge swing, Raptor, Magnum, Disaster Transport, Wicked Twister, the spider ride, Troika, Gemini, Mean Streak, the Skyride and I'm sure a couple others. Rode Mill. at night too...fun stuff! It did rain, but we made it through! :) Got home around 1 am...then work the next day on the 4th.
Yesterday I worked 11-6:45. It was long, but I had some really fun customers which helped my day go by. One guy was just fun trying on jeans b/c he was a Brit guy with a couple women (family) and they were just helping him find jeans. Then this other older lady was shopping for her grandkids (older ones). She needed a size 18 for her granddaughter who she kept on referring to as a "fat a..word." I couldn't believe she kept referring to the granddaughter like that! It's so mean! She gave me a customer compliment though so it made me happy! :) Later I hung out with my friend and we grabbed some raspberry mochas. mmmm soo good....it was a good time.
Better get going. I have today off so I'm sorta looking for jobs..yea the search is not fun. yuck.

p.s. A shoutout to my Grandma....a request of oatmeal raisin cookies would be FABULOUS to send home with my mom! hehehe :) They can help you make them!! I think it'd be a GREAT idea!!!!!!
