Wow I haven't posted in awhile. Let's see here...went to Michigan for Thanksgiving and had a lovely time relaxing with family. We watched movies (Mission Impossible 3, The Christmas Story, Cars, Garfield, and the parade). I told Uncle Rob I wanted to do some crafts b/c when I was younger I'd always do a craft with Aunt Peg, so he went out and bought a loom to make those potholders. Made a potholder then the next night was Creepy Crawler night. Wow I made a lot of bugs ahahaha. It made me sad that I sold my Creepy Crawler machine on ebay. I miss it now, but then I realized that I truly do not have the time to make bugs and I really don't need bugs, so I probably have enough to last me for quite some time now. On Friday we went shopping on "Black Friday" and that was fun. Altogether it was a relaxing little vacation.

Ok so on Monday I went back to work and had a dad with his 2 daughters come in. He came in asking for "chubalicious" jeans and/or "chubawaba jeans" as his daughters kept on saying. Now this man was not chubby as he was saying he was but it was sooooooo funny how he kept describing the type of jeans he wanted. I asked him the normal questions on how he wanted them to fit and did find him a pair. Before going in the dressing room, the 2 girls saw a red plaid shirt and kept calling it a 'lumberjack' shirt. We came came up with this great idea for a picture which could turn into a commerical. The 12 yr old said they needed a saw etc..Anyways my point is...that some customers that come in the store are sooooooooo much fun and make my day while others are so grumpy etc. They were fun and kept me laughing. Good times! Then today...gotta love it when the stealers are scouting outside the door when they walk by. No they're not suspecious at all staring/glaring at your store. One guy even waved to my friend in the baby store. They're so dumb.

Today I got a mini trampoline sooooo since I can't have a huge one, I'll enjoy my mini one. yey! ;)

Yesterday once again on my way to work I saw the same guy walking his dog. This time he was talking on a cell phone. Not reading the paper. hahah :) Poor dog..not getting all the attention!

On Monday my dad and I found out that crazy North Ridgeville doesn't sell any sushi in the grocery stores. How bazaar is that? Yea I used to not want to try it, but friends have got me hooked on it. I like the California style (Lindsay introduced me to that...without the fishy taste)....mmm good!

Also my mom came home from her trip to Georgia and my grandma sent me home a lemon cake. It's delicious!!! :) mmmmmmmmm MUCH THANKS!!!! It tastes like it always does!! yummy!!

Today on my way to work there was a guy walking down the sidewalk with his dog. It wasn't just an ordinary walk with his dog. He (the man may I remind you) was reading his good old newspaper at 10:12 am this foggy Wednesday morning. The poor reddish dog was walking ever so slowly ahead of him taking his time. It made me smile.
I really, really wished I had time (and my camera) to take a picture...ahhh I see the greatest photo shots ALL THE TIME on my way to work! GRRRRR!!!

We submitted 5 stories, but I think I only found 3 which were published. I was the driver and I helped take notes, quotes and asked questions. It was a long, but good day. It rained a lot, but luckily it wasn't too hard! A little chilly, but at our second location an elderly woman let us in the lobby. As ch 3 interns (and other people involved with media or handing out info), we were only allowed 100 ft away from the enterance, but she was nice and let us warm up in the lobby area. We met some interesting people there. One lady enjoyed explaining her views! This was at the Barton Center in Lakewood. Before we left (at 1 pm) they gave us boxed lunches with a sandwich, pasta salad, fruit cup, pickle, and chocolate chip cookie. Later when we were all done, (stopped at 7:30) we went back to the station and hung out for about a half hour. We saw Romona Robinson and Tim White- tv personalities and got our pic taken with Romona. It was a pretty cool experience I thought. Not thinking I want to be a reporter, but I enjoyed it! Oh yea at our first location, the flags which were supposed to show us where to stand, were wayyyyy further away than 100 ft so Kathryn called in and they (from the station) said we could move up to talk to people since they weren't coming to us. So a little while later (after our Prof. Horowitz left who took a couple pics of us on the job) a lady working the polls came out and kicked us back to the sidewalk. She didnt seem very friendly! Oh well! Met some nice people there!

Yesterday (Nov. 1st) around 6 o'clock I heard voices outside the front door. Then the doorbell rang. At first I thought maybe it was my parents coming home and they might've had their hands full from shopping. I opened the door and I was wrong. There were 3 boys shivering and saying "Trick-or-Treat." I was like 'what?' I told them they were a day behind and that they were crazy. They played it off like no....they weren't a day behind. They wanted some 'left over candy.' So I was like 'alright..hang on.' I ran upstairs grabbed 3 mini candy bars and 3 suckers (hha..from the corn festival in August that I knew we weren't going to eat since we hadn't eaten them yet) and gave them to the boys. They were grateful. I gave them the candy because I thought they had a creative idea to go a day after Halloween collecting the left over candy no one wants. I thought it was funny. Oh they were sorta dressed up...as nerds/geeks I guess.

Halloween went well...I think we had around 60 trick-or-treaters. I dressed up as a gypsy and handed out candy. There were some cute kids- a little raggedy ann and some Curious George's I liked. We even had a ballerina dog come by! I just love trick-or-treating and seeing the kids in their costumes coming to the house. Plus it's soooooooooooo fun carving a pumpkin every year. I just love it!! It's tradition!!
