Merry Christmas everyone!! :) So far this 2006 Christmas has been VERY GOOD. I recieved a lot of nice gifts from my parents and one really, really nice presents from my grandparents! Thank you very much!!
We ate a delicious Giant Eagle turkey dinner and I carved Mr. Tom turkey. It actually went really well. I am stuffed! I think in a little while we're heading over to my grandma's and Aunt & Uncle's house. I'm a little sad there's no snow tho. Doesn't quite feel like Christmas!!

This morning I went to the dentist b/c I missed my original 6 month check up awhile ago. It felt sooooooo nice to get my teeth cleaned (minus the minor aching in my gums). I just love clean teeth & a good report from my dentist!

Today I worked 1-6 in all 3 stores. I feel like a troubidor without the singing though haha. Then I guess I wasn't a troubidor...anyways... I saw 2 friends of mine who stopped in to say hi who have lived in Colorado. Mike & Valerie popped in and I was soo excited to see them! I love visitors. Later on, right before I left, I was helping this one man and he was acting kinda strange. He was looking at a dress one minute saying he liked it, then not even 1 minute later he turned around and said, 'eww! Gross! If I had a daughter I wouldn't even put it on her!" hahah Okkkk then. Long story short, he finally found something for a gift and I rang him up. He and the lady he was with was talking about trying to find a bar where they could smoke, but since the law was passed with a smoking ban in restaurants, you can't smoke inside. They were talking about then and out of nowhere the guy blirts out, "I'm on Vicadin (sp?)." I was like that explains your odd behavior. He said he wasn't addicted to it, but he was taking it for pain. The lady didn't know why he was telling me that. I told him he shouldn't drive while on the medicine and he said," Well I'm a single (gay guy??) and I dont' have a choice. I'd rather drive like this then with a drunk driver." I'm like oh great. So they're going to go to Hoggy's to get some drinks and drive after? I'm leaving before them!!! I told him he was entertaining hahaha. He kept me laughing. I love drama at Crocker Gap :)
After work I visited a friend working at Hollister and came home to celebrate my mom's birthday today.
Can't wait until Sunday to see my bestest buddies home for the holidays!!!

Elizabeth Molnar
Much more nice than naughty. Can be very thoughtful. Has improved cleanliness, which I like. Could take better care of toys. Says "thank you" often, but still not as much as I would like. Good mood often spreads to others. Hopefully, will keep up the good work!

If you go to that website, you're able to type in your name and Santa will tell you what list you're on. I heard about it off my fav radio station today and thought I'd check it out for fun! Hey at least he said I'm nice! :)

When I logged in today on my msn messenger, I found this article under peculiar postings about how a camel cracked open 6 cans of beer at an Irish party. I just thought it was kinda funny that a camel wanted to drink. :)

Yesterday was such a fun day because I was able to sleep in and visit CSU while seeing professors and old friends. Then after youth, had a great time with friends laughing till my stomach ached.
I went to CSU for the CH 3 debrief meeting to talk about how the election reporting day went. The school's president was there to give his comments plus 2 people from channel 3 came down. All in all it went well. It was a great refresher and hearing Dick Russ, managing editor, motivated me to work on my resume and portfolio. I also talked to my teacher Eleanor who gave me a contact in event planning. I was able to see my good friend Regina and get my favorite pizza (well almost favorite as I was corrected b/c I had to get pepperoni instead of cheese). They roll the crust up and it's delicious! After the meeting, I fed the meter (yes it took me quite a few tries to parallel park) and ventured down to see the new rec center. It's awesome. Of course it always happens when I graduate they update the school's facilities. When I was on my way to the front desk, there was a guy & girl trying to recruit me to be on the school's rowing team! ha me a rower? I dont think so. I told them I graduated and was looking at the new rec center. Then I found the front desk and the guy went over this huge spiel on the rec center, but he was very informative. After leaving Cleveland, I dropped of cds at library and went to Old Navy to meet my parents for a lil christmas shopping. I needed to find a shirt for the Refuge Awards and I found a tank (well 2 b/c I liked it and wanted to wear one plain) for $1.45, another fancy black tank for $.97 and a henley for $1.97! I was sooo excited! :)
After O.N., went home, ate, went to youth. It was a neat service because PK preached on "Painting a picture like Jesus" then all the girls painted a part of a picture and all the guys did the other half. We put it together and it was a cool pic of Jesus in neutral tones. It was cool b/c all of us worked on it and did a great job. Afterwards Audrey I took some pics together and goofed around. She cracks me up all the time. I just love that girl.
Later on Audrey, Brett, Dan, Leslie and I went to McDonalds and grabbed some food. I got my famous parafait. Mmm..I love those! I think we were the loudest ones there at 10 pm lol. whoops.
Well I hope today we don't get snowed in b/c it's still coming down at 1:30. I heard we're supposed to get over a foot! WHOA! yey! We'll see!

Yey we have pretty white snow on the ground today!

Yesterday I was excited to go to Sears to get my price adjustment on my mini trampoline. I got $21.50 back b/c it was marked 50% off in the Sunday ad. It pays to look in the ads! Now I feel like my Gap customers who are always on top of their price adjustments. hahha It's always nice to get some money back!

Wow what a day!
What do you get when your power goes out more then 10 times in less than 5 hours during Friends and Family Day?
ANSWER:
A bunch of clear bags with holds in the back room, some angry customers, quite a few nice ones, sales that can't be wrung up and one 'lovely' customer who calls you rude.

Well to start my day off...I was getting ready & my mom pulled my covers off to wash the sheets and what did she find? A DEAD, DEAD, DEAD SPIDER! Yes she found a DEAD spider at the bottom of my bed. If you know me well....I hate real spiders. I like stuffed animal ones and making them but I don't care for the real things. So ugh it was gross. I think I'll be able to go to sleep. I hope. So got ready, left for work & drove by a lot of yards which were flooded b/c of all the rain we've got in the past day. The front yards looked like ponds.
So got to work and probably around 12:30?? or a little before is when we started having power outages. When our power goes out, it takes about 12 minutes or so for our computer systems to reboot. Customers don't seem to comprehend that for some odd reason. So I was working on something else when I came up to the registers when they were down and there was a lady with her older daughter standing there. My friend wasn't saying anything to help them while waiting or to explain what was going on, so I took the initiative. My manager was busy with another ringer and customer who just lost her transaction b/c the computer went out just as she was finishing up. Well I told the lady & her daughter that it takes 12 mins to reboot the computers and she said, "well at Banana R. it wasn't like this. They called a number within 30 seconds and we helping us. We're in a hurry! The customer service here is unbelievable!" I was in shock. I was trying to help them. Well somewhere in our weird convo they mentioned they had to go to their dad/husbands funeral in 2o minutes. A thought crossed my mind, 'why on earth did you wait until 20 minutes to go to the store?' Yes I don't know the circumstances etc, but whatever. You wouldn't think they'd wait so long. So when I get nervous I guess I smile and do some giggling thing b/c I get uncomfortable when I don't know what to do in a situation...I don't know..that's just me...so then the daughter thinks I'm laughing! Talk about miscommunication people. No I was not laughing at them. They were making me nervous b/c I didn't know how to handle them. I kept telling them I had to ask my mgr what to do or what she could do for them but yea they're like "it shouldn't take 4 people to help us." Then the daughter said she was going to report us. The mom was like what? The daughter said b/c I was being rude. The mom didnt think so at least. GRR....yea their emotions were running wild, I understand that, but still...made me feel bad. So I just walked away trying to calm myself down not letting them bother me (even tho they did) and then found a NICE customer to help. :) Thank God for her! WOw....people are just lovely, aren't they?
Later on in the day, people (at least the ones I talked to) were considerate and understanding about having to put their items on hold. Plus just the people I work with help :) I love em! :)
After work I went to V.S., the bank, Marc's, Office Max to visit my buddy Audrey, Sephora (wow they have fun stuff there that's really expensive lol), and Michelle and i went to the Aveda open house. We got back/neck massages & arm massages. Wow it was sooo relaxing...I didn't want to get off the seat. It was quite amazing it'd say. I bought the blue peppermint oil they used on my neck..feels soo good! We had a great time eating our lil shrimp & sparkling cider.
MY HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY BESIDES THE MASSAGE: going through the long awaited Root Rd./ Lorain intersection! yeyyeyeyeyeyeyeyeyeyeyeyeyeyeyeyeyey!!! It was open1! No more 10 minute detour I hope.

Last night I had a great time shopping at the Gap Outlet with one of my best friend's family. Wow... trying to find a restaurant that's opened past 10 is hard to do!! lol. Good times!

Favorite quote of this week:
Craig: "You're lucky it's not 1605 because you'd be burned at the stake."
Thanks Craig....gotta love the people I work with! haha
