Now I have some time to type. I'll start from last weekend...Fri-Sat was the bootcamp in Columbus. It was a praying and fasting bootcamp that started at 7 pm Fri- 6 pm Sat. I made it through fasting except for the granola bar I had to eat with taking my medicine. I was pretty amazed! No headaches either! It was interesting & fun. We (the Denmark team) played a few games to learn how to work together, trained, prayed and did some exercises. It went well for the most part. I'm not to crazy about the guys leading it, but oh well. We all have to work with people we don't get along with, right? I think some of the reason I don't like how they're running this missions trip is because when they were telling us information, I know they're directing it at the students mainly. Plus they said they'll give us info when necessary....yeah...I like knowing things ahead of time and being prepared. That bugged me when they said that. Plus I don't think the one guy knew I was a leader until right before we left b/c I was telling someone I was in college and he seemed surprised. When he spoke to me, it just seemed like he was talking to me like a little kid and that made me mad. I can't stand that!!!! ugh..... Even tho I may look like a little kid to some people, I AM NOT ONE!!!! I'm 22!!! Not 16 , ok?? grrr...Anyways...I'm not going to please those guys so....I'm going to tell others about God. I'm sure it'll all work out. Plus there's not too many women leaders going...eek...I'm used to being "under" women managers and I like that!! lol After the fast, a bunch of us (7 of us went down from my church) went to get BBQ and it was delicious!!! mmm.....tasty!
On Sunday we began our sunday school training...yea...it goes until we leave. It's different and I'm just not a morning person, so I hope it goes well. I just don't like to talk in the morning and we have to participate during it and practice witnessing. That's hard to do!! Plus I'm still waking up! haha :) After church, my friends and I went to Panera and I got the broccoli and cheese soup plus some sort of turkey sandwich that was delicious. That Sunday night I worked on homework as usual.
Monday-I went to my classes & just worked on hw that evening. Nothing too interesting happened. Tues- worked at LWE. Wed-class and then at CSU we had a Spring Fest. There was a man with animals and so I got to pet..are you ready for the list???
-3 snakes-a boa, some sort of milk snake?, and a python
-blue tongued skink
-bearded dragon
-hissing cockroach
-tortoise (sp?)
-a gray & black chinchilla
-a lionhead rabbit
-albino dove
-kinkachoo (sp?) ..related to a lemur
-baby crocodile.... I think that is everything.... The guy has a lot of cages built in his basement with lights and timers set to go on and off. He was really nice and I loved seeing & petting the animals. After that I went home, did hw, went to youth & worked on some more hw.
Thursday-worked 8-3 at LWE and it was sample day. My theme was pirates so on Wed I had drawn a pirate face and made a pirate flag. We really didn't do so well money wise, but I thought the props looked good! :) That evening I went to an open house at a dr.'s office that LWE staff was invited too. Lindsay, Jeanne (personal trainer) and I went and ate some really good food & each got a back and neck massage....it felt sooooo good. I really didn't want to get out of my chair. There were fortune tellers there and what is really stupid...those were the longest lines. Can you believe how much people buy into that junk?? I could tell any of those people what those fortune tellers were telling them. It's ridiculous. Of course we didn't do that...nor did we drink the cosmopolitians....yea I think people drank a little too much...eek!! No thank you! Later that night I finished working on my presentation. yippee... lol
SATURDAY....Worked all day in babygap!! I opened at 9 and got to leave a 4..whew...what a day! :)

Today was a packed day like all of my other days this past week. I got up and went to my 3 classes. In my first class, we just took notes. In the second one we watched a video from 1999 on The New York Reporter or something. I can't even remember now...some tabloid paper....then in my last class I went second for my presentation on impulsive consumer buying behavior. I was a little nervous at the beginning but then I made it through. I worked from 2:30 -6 in Adult and it was pretty fun because of the people working there. More and more people are leaving though because they're finding better jobs/careers. :( That's sad. After work I picked up my props from LWE sample day, came home, went to Bethany's so me, her fiance & sister could go to Kim's house. Before leaving though, I got to feed 4 baby goats some milk b/c Bethany has baby goats now. They're soooo cute!!! :) We met at Kim's house for their young adults class...Access. It was really nice. I really enjoyed it. I wish my church had something like that. We sang and their young adult pastor just shared from his heart and we had a discussion. (Oh yea we ate yummy food too.) We watched the Cavs win too. Haha....Got home before 12. I have to write more later b/c I gotta work tomorrow! AHHH!

Recap of the last few days/week:
This past weekend was retreat and I had such a great time. It was so nice to get away and spend time with the kids and God. I was so sore from playing the games though! Wow! :) I took a lot of pictures...way over 100 and so I have those to remember it by. The team that I was on (called RAGE)...WON!!! We won with 2 guys and the rest girls. I thought that was pretty good. I think for the mostpart it was due to Brett & Andrew's (Mango's) creativity and then the rest of us expanding on it. Then on Saturday night/Sunday morning, 4 of us stayed up until 4 am talking & listening to Lindsay's (youth pastor's wife) camp stories. They are hilarious! I'm kinda still tired from that, but it was well worth it.
Then the rest of this week has been actually going really well. Every day I've been working on my crazy research paper and I'm up to 9 pages. I have to be done by this weekend b/c I want to turn in the rough draft on Monday. Work at LWE hasn't been too stressful. On Tuesday, Lindsay and I had the giggles and it was so funny. We would just laugh at about everything. Good times! Then last night after church, a bunch of us went to Applebee's to celebrate my friend Sarah's 25th Birthday. Today I got up early for work (8-3) then came home and my mom and I went to Dillard's Clinique to get our 'free gift w/purchase.' We went to a few other stores too. I was looking for a dress for Easter, but yea when you're small and petite...that poses a problem. Of course I found 2 dresses I liked, but they were $65 & $98...so yea, didn't get them. They were sooo cute tho! One was a Jessica McClintock (sp?) ...blue, strapless, and had black lace around the waist with a black bow...ooo I liked it. It hit right above the knee...Maybe when it goes on sale..??? hhahaha. On our outing I saw a co-worker and 2 classmates which is always fun. Yeah...got to talking which always happens, but I love chatting with people. You find things out that way! :) I must get going on that paper again!!!

On Thursday night I was able to see Elizabeth & Ethan. He's still cute and snuggly as ever! He makes a lot of funny faces :). It was fun going over there and finding out how the new addition to the family is doing. Elizabeth seemed to be doing pretty good too!
On Friday- school, then no last class b/c it's for us to work on our research paper. I went home, ate, then worked till 6. Afterwards I went to Old Navy and Walmart to pick up my digital prints. I really don't care for Walmart. I think I really don't like it now b/c we've talked about it so much in my one class on how it's taking over the world etc. I just don't care for how they price point their merchandise, the vests etc..atmosphere...I don't know. That's just my opinion. I like Target better I guess. They have cheap pics tho, so that's why I go in! After that I went to the youth's Hanging at the Refuge till 11. I had a really bad headache, but I stayed. I did have fun playing the spoons game, eating pizza and cookies and talking.
On Saturday- worked till 4 in adult. It was pretty busy I think b/c of the weather getting warmer. I folded denim ALL DAY LONG. My arms were sore this morning I think b/c of that hahah. After work I met the guys from church to film a video for Winter Blitz..youth group. Yeah it took 5 HOURS>>>>>>>>>>>ARG....They didn't have any plans or dialogue. We just made it up as we went so it's really weird. It was fun, but I was so mad by the time we finished b/c I hadn't eaten anything from 1:30-9:30. If I have a task to do, I do it to get it done, then have fun. I don't mind having fun in between, but I'm a planner. I love hearing people's plans and knowing things way in advance so I can process it. Nope not this. I'm horrible at improvising too...Let's just say I like being behind the scenes. So anyways...the guys were funny in their costumes and parts were enjoyable..it just dragged on. I have other things on my mind then working on a video, but oh well! It's over now & I lived hehehe.
Today was pretty rough. Won't go into details....b/c I'd rather not on the web.
This afternoon had a leaders meeting for spring retreat and it sounds like it'll be a lot of fun. I hope it goes well.
AHHH...I think I'm going to go crazy...I graduate next month..I'm having an anxiety attack I think...eek...........not good.
